Children in Scotland - Embedding children and young people’s voices in your organisation

This session will be an opportunity to explore approaches to embedding children and young people's voices in decision-making. Children in Scotland staff will share examples of their work and will focus on how children and young people are central to their values and practices. There will be opportunity for reflection on how children and young people's voices are embedded in your own organisation's work and to plan next steps.

  • understand the rationale and benefits of embedding children and young people’s voices

  • have a more in-depth knowledge about different ways to embed children and young people’s participation

  • understand some of the common challenges

  • have a clearer sense of practical steps that can be implemented within your organisation.

Cost
