Corporate Volunteering

Corporate volunteering involves employees engaging in volunteer activity to support charities and community groups during paid working hours. It’s also known as Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV), employee volunteering or volunteering leave. However you describe it, it holds a wealth of positive benefits for individuals, the community and the businesses themselves.

For employees there’s the opportunity to learn new skills, connect with their local communities, have fun and make new friends. And by offering volunteering opportunities, their employers are helping to increase employee motivation through collaboration and team-building while supporting and delivering objectives that truly empower local people and benefit the area.

Many corporate volunteers enjoy their volunteer time so much that they continue their personal involvement outside of work hours. Here at VCEL we can support all of this by linking businesses with local charities and community groups for volunteering days. We’d love to help!
