East Lothian Climate Hub: Creating Local Place Plans with your community

Local Place Plans are community-led plans that allow community bodies to actively plan for their future, and a tool for communities to develop their own plans on how land is used and developed in the local area. According to the SCDC, Local Place Plans are tools to support community empowerment.... to tackle strategic agendas such as the climate emergency, health and wellbeing, inequalities and economic opportunity'. Please come along to this informal event to demystify local place plans, and the basics of how to create one, and have your questions answered by the Scottish Community Development Centre and the Planning Dept at the Council.
