Social Enterprise Scotland: Share your experiences: Employer Recruitment Incentives

Social Enterprise Scotland is hosting an informal online session for social enterprises to share their experiences of ERIs. This is a space to talk about what’s worked well, where ERIs have genuinely benefited individuals and organisations and to share practical examples of how ERIs have supported recruitment, skills development and organisational sustainability.  We’re also keen to hear what’s been challenging and where there is room for improvement.

This is a chance to feed into national thinking on ERIs, helping ensure future guidance for local authorities and LEPs (Local Employability Partnerships) in Scotland reflects the realities on the ground.

The session will be informal and confidential. Any experiences shared will be anonymised.  The session is scheduled for a hour, you are welcome to join at any point to contribute

We appreciate the short notice for this session. If you can’t make it and would like to share your experience, please email Jayne

More information

An Employer Recruitment Incentive (ERI) is generally a government or local authority programme that offers financial support to organisations to encourage them to hire individuals facing barriers to employment, such as long term unemployment or disability. It can cover costs like wages, training or support for a time-limited period. These incentives aim to create inclusive labour markets, support fair work and help people gain sustainable job.

Employer Recruitment Incentive Framework – developed in partnership between the Scottish and Local Government, outlines the national minimum standards for publicly funded recruitment incentives available to support people of all ages who meet the required eligibility criteria
