Signal Scotland: Turning Community Insight Into Action

Join us for an interactive session introducing Signal Scotland – a powerful insight and data platform helping organisations understand local need, measure impact, and evidence change.

Already used across East Lothian through Community First East Lothian and Volunteer Centre East Lothian (VCEL), Signal combines lived experience, real-time data, and local intelligence to support better decision-making and collaboration.

This session will:

  • Demonstrate how Signal supports East Lothian’s Local Outcome Improvement Plan, Poverty Plan, and Community Wealth Building priorities.

  • Showcase how the Signal Life Map helps organisations record outcomes, identify trends, and share evidence of community impact.

  • Share examples of how Signal is already strengthening services and partnerships across East Lothian.

  • Explain how your organisation can participate and benefit from being part of the Signal network.

Who should attend
Anyone working or volunteering within East Lothian’s community, voluntary, or public sectors who wants to better understand local needs, improve reporting, or demonstrate the value of their work.
