Fabricated and Induced Illness: Awareness raising and Implications for practice

NHS Lothian’s lead Paediatrician for child protection and CP L&D lead will present a 1 hour webinar on the topic of Fabricated and Induced illness. The webinar will raise awareness around terminology, recognition, management with a focus on a few chosen case studies that have been raised at IRD across the region. This webinar is aimed at staff working closely with children and families in community settings and health staff in acute paediatric areas. Staff working in children and families social work areas, particularly those who provide supervision to staff or work in an advisory capacity such as reviewing officers.
