Session Descriptor

A follow up from Parts 1-4 of The Spider In The Glass with Myra Ross where we look at by whom, why and how the silence around abusive relationships is maintained. 

Aim of Session:  We will broaden our perspective and consider why we so often hear "everyone knew but nobody said"

What is it that prevents the breaking of the silence?  What else breaks with the silence?

About Myra Ross

Myra is a retired Police Officer who has worked extensively in Domestic Abuse and Child Protection. She went on to work in Social Work, Residential Child Care and education settings with vulnerable and care experienced students. Latterly, working in the Highland Violence Against Women Partnership where she delivered training on Gender Based Violence. Myra is a mother of two, storyteller and poet.​
