Body Boosting Bingo and Power Quiz are games resources created by Age Scotland to develop older people's strength and balance in group settings.  This training is for paid staff and volunteers who intend to lead game events using our resources. The training covers:

  • Why developing strength and balance is important in later life, and what the public health guidelines say

  • An introduction to the games resources: Power Quiz and Body Boosting Bingo.

  • An opportunity to try out leading games using the resources

  • How to plan, promote, and safely run sessions based on the resources.

Those completing the workshop will receive materials to run sessions (subject to terms and conditions). Our fun active games resources are free for use with older people in Scotland. They are available for use outside of Scotland under a license arrangement; to find out more, email us.

To be kept informed of future workshop dates and locations please sign-up to Age Scotland’s monthly Wellbeing in Later Life email bulletin.
