Volunteer Centre East Lothian’s latest Covid-19 & Third Sector Update is now available.

Carolyn’s story of volunteering at Hollies Community Hub reflects how she wanted to give back to the group that supported her with vital respite when she needed it.

Melanie Kay from Beach Wheelchairs shares with us her own motivations for volunteering and how much she enjoys making North Berwick beach accessible to everyone and seeing the joy on people's faces when they can get back on the sand.

Today find out about some of the great volunteers at Our Community Kitchen in Haddington. The team there carry out a wide range of roles and activities and Alison tells us about how volunteering makes her feel part of an ‘extended family’.
