Social Enterprise Scotland: Showcasing Fair Work in Social Enterprise

Social enterprises across Scotland are not just embracing Fair Work – they are helping to lead the way. As part of the Scottish Government’s Festival of Fair Work, Social Enterprise Scotland is hosting a one-hour online session celebrating how social enterprises are embedding Fair Work at the heart of their organisations and communities

The session will:

  • Highlight key insights from the Social Enterprise Census, showing how the sector performs on Fair Work

  • Explore why Fair Work aligns so strongly with social enterprise values and purpose

  • Demonstrate how social enterprises are delivering across the five pillars of Fair Work: Opportunity, Effective Voice, Security, Fulfilment and Respect

The event will also feature an award-winning social enterprise, Scarf, bringing the data to life, highlighting Fair Work in practice – from workforce voice and inclusive opportunities to meaningful, fulfilling jobs.

Outcomes:

  • Understand how social enterprises are performing on Fair Work across Scotland.

  • See practical examples of how the five pillars can be embedded in everyday organisational practice.

  • Gain inspiration and ideas that can be applied across all sectors.
