Social Enterprise Scotland: Cross-Party Group: Jan 2026

Community cohesion has never been more important than now. Earlier this year the Scottish Government announced additional funding for third sector organisations, community groups and social enterprises that focus on community cohesion.

This meeting will be discussing the vital importance that social enterprises play in community cohesion and what else the Scottish Government can do.

We’ll discuss what challenges and barriers there are to social enterprises who do this and what we’d like to see from the next government in 2026.

This will also be an opportunity to review the work of the CPG over the previous parliamentary session and discuss options for the way forward.
