SCVO: Policy Network: engaging with the Scottish Government’s programme for government

An opportunity to meet with the First Minister’s Strategic Priorities Unit who will provide insights into the Scottish Government’s Programme for Government (PfG) process and for participants to share their experiences of engaging with the PfG process.

Description

At this session, the Policy Network will have the opportunity to meet the Scottish Government team responsible for the coordination of the Programme for Government (PfG). The document sets out the Government’s strategic priorities and the actions it will take.

The team will:

  • Introduce their team and their remit

  • Offer reflections on the PfG process

  • Share thoughts on how changes to the PfG process may impact influencing approaches

  • Share how progress on PfG commitments are monitored

A discussion will follow the team’s presentation during which Policy Network members will have the chance to share their reflections on the process. The team are interested in hearing from network members about their experience of engaging with the PfG process - please come prepared to share your views.

This session is open to members of SCVO’s Policy Network. Places are limited and registration is essential. Joining the Policy Network and attending Policy Network events are an exclusive benefit we offer to organisations with an SCVO membership.
