DTAS: Tackling Poverty in Your Community

The Poverty Alliance have been delivering a 3 year project called Taking Action on Rural Poverty. Working across two rural Local Authorities, Aberdeenshire and Argyll and Bute, they are sharing their learning about amplifying local voices with lived experience of living rurally in a way that delivers structural change, supporting and uncovering community work and the practical way this approach can be used to improve lives for rural households and communities. This session will provide insights for many communities and groups, not just those in rural areas. It will be an opportunity to examine the learnings and consider how this can be applied to your own local community, and help people across Scotland.
