About the Role

This is not a traditional support role.

As a Community First Worker, you will:

  • Work directly with individuals and families across East Lothian

  • Support people experiencing poverty, isolation, and complex challenges

  • Build trusted relationships and create space for people to identify their own strengths and goals

But there’s more, this position also plays a key part in shaping the future of Community First. You will help us:

  • Test new ideas and models of support

  • Strengthen partnerships across the sector

  • Improve outcomes for communities throughout East Lothian
