Our befrienders provide companionship to people 16+ who are socially isolated due to long term health problems,disability or personal circumstances.

Many clients attending the day centre are isolated in their own homes most of the time. Therefore it is invaluable to them that they have someone to talk to when attending the centre.

Pain Concern is a charity which offers information and support to people suffering from chronic pain. We require volunteers to work in our office. The work is varied and interesting and training is available.

You can make a real difference for people, just think of every problem you've ever had and now think of the problems your friends and family have had. Thats a lot of people with a lot of proiblems. At any time these people could have come along to Musselburgh Citizens Advice Bureau where out team of Advisors would have been able to help with information, advice and support.
