the East Lothian Inspiring Volunteering Awards 2009, which will be held in the Brunton Theatre and Hall on 25 November 2009.
Volunteer Development East Lothian, East Lothian Council and East Lothian Learning Partnership will be presenting this special event to recognise and celebrate the wide-ranging achievement and significant impact that volunteers make within East Lothian.
All volunteer involving organisations and individuals are invited to submit nominations for their volunteers whose work takes place or has its impact in East Lothian. There are 9 award categories to choose from when making nominations, designed to give specific recognition to volunteers for the contribution that they have made.
Volunteers can be nominated for the categories of:
Volunteer of the Year
Young Volunteer of the Year
Volunteer Team/Group of the Year
Tenant Volunteer of the Year
Tenants Group of the Year
Outstanding contribution to Tenants Participation
Volunteer Adult Tutor of the Year
Volunteer Youth Worker of the Year
Community Activist of the Year
